On 8th May 1945 the Allies accepted the unconditional surrender of the German armed forces, ending six years of terrible fighting. This day is known as Victory in Europe Day - VE Day! 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. To celebrate this momentous occasion, come on down to Stationers’ Hall in the heart of London for some great food and wine, fine entertainment and great fellowship. The evening will start with a drinks reception, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner with wines and port. There will be entertainment throughout the evening, reflecting the era of 1945. Liverymen and Freemen are welcome to bring guests to what promises to be yet another fantastic event organised by the Livery Committee, full of food, fun and laughter.
Dress Code - 'Jacket Required' or 'War Time'. Fancy dress is encouraged!
