NEW FREEMAN HENRY JOHN PREPARES SKIING UNLOCKED FOR BUSY WINTER

Skiing Unlocked is ready to tackle its second winter season – and its first since founder Henry John joined the Stationers’ in June 2024 – providing guidance and inspiration blogging to the snowsports community.
Launched in time for the 2023/24 winter season, Skiing Unlocked brings together Henry’s experience in the UK snowsports industry. Forged initially in a ski shop on New Change, becoming a Freeman of the Company represents a career come full circle for Henry - at least geographically speaking!
Based on a decade spent testing gear, skiing resorts, and ongoing personal avalanche safety development, Henry’s aim is simple; to bring advice, inspiration and guidance to anyone who wants more from their skiing adventures. Whether you are planning a dream winter holiday to Japan or Canada, booking your half-term week away with the family, or sharpening your edges for the Inter-Livery Ski Championships, the blog is the place to find the keys to unlock your skiing.
You will find Henry on the slopes across Europe this winter, often in the service of the Ski Club of Great Britain. Alongside Skiing Unlocked, Henry contributes extensively to the Club magazine SKI: The Ski Club Magazine and maintains the Ski Club’s exciting new website; all building blocks in a road that has led to the Stationers’, and will hopefully continue with their support.
