ST CECILIATIDE CONCERT 2025

A joint event coordinated by Help Musicians and the Musicians Company in aid of Help Musicians ( formerly the Musicians Benevolent Fund ) was planned as part of our joint celebrations for St Cecilia, the patron saint of Musicians.  Underneath our 1890 stained glass window of St Cecilia an array of world class musicians came together compèred by Katie Derham bringing her relaxed Classic FM and BBC Proms style to the gala evening. A number of the performers  had benefitted from the charity’s support when early in their careers and spoke movingly, in conversation, about its importance as today’s young aspiring musicians lack the financial provision that they had.
