Private group tours offer the best opportunity to visit the Museum Depot in Acton for a behind the scenes tour of the collection. The Depot is a working museum, which houses over 370,000 objects. Sights include rare Road & Rail vehicles spanning over 100 years, Bus and Rail sheds, Signs, Ceramic Tiles, Ephemera and Ticket Machines. It is a most interesting tour as it is the home of what is on display at its flagship premises in Covent Garden.
The best way to enjoy 'behind the scenes' in detail is by private tour, with one of their expert volunteer guides. The tour will start at 11am and will last around 2 hours. Please arrive promptly at the entrance where you will be met by Liveryman Dave Rosewell. A two course fish & chip luncheon including a soft drink, beer or glass of wine will be provided. We will also hold a raffle to support the Foundation.
This event is on a 'first come first served' basis and is exclusive to members of the Stationers' Company and their guests. Tickets cost £45 inc VAT per person. Numbers are limited to just 20 guests.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday, 13 March 2018, after which no refunds will be given.
