One hundred unique examples of contemporary typography and type design from the 21st Century, from leading designers around the world.
The Stationers’ Company is to stage a major exhibition of contemporary type-design. This event will feature the work of internationally established designers from around the world, including Matthew Carter, Gerard Unger, Martin Majoor, Jeremy Tankard and Jonathan Barnbrook and will include specimens of the design of new 21st Cen-tury types, as well as examples of the innovative use of type in a range of printed contexts. The exhibition will then travel around the UK and abroad. This promises to be a most exciting event with distinguished speakers from the world of type design.
Join us for wine and light refreshments, served in Stationers’ Hall’s secret garden and then walk through to view this superb exhibition held in the Church of St Martin-within-Ludgate, which was rebuilt in 1677–84 by Sir Christopher Wren. The evening will also include musical entertainment.
Speaker: Will Hill, lecturer and author of The Complete Typographer and curator of the exhibition, will be speaking along with other eminent typographers and designers. There will be a special collector’s catalogue souvenir for each guest to accompany this fabulous exhibition.

Tickets are £30 per head. All proceeds of this event will support the ongoing exhibiting of this Exhibition at Universities and other not-for-profit organisations.
