Stationers' Crown Woods Academy
The Stationers' Company's sponsorship of Stationers' Crown Woods Academy was formally completed on 1 September 2014. It is the Company's most significant charitable activity since the opening of the first Stationers' Company's School in Fleet Street in 1861. The academy is the first school in the UK to specialise in digital media and will produce generations of school leavers with an understanding of, and an interest in, the Communications and Content industries. Postgraduate Bursary Scheme
Our postgraduate bursary programme provides support for young people on a variety of MA and MSc courses leading to a career in the Content and Communications industries. These range from digital media to print and packaging and from book and magazine publishing and journalism to conservation and information management.
Other Scholarships and Educational Awards
In addition to the specific postgraduate bursaries mentioned above, we offer a range of smaller, more flexible, scholarships and awards to those whose courses relate to the Communications and Content industries.
The Stationers' Company supports three Saturday Schools run by Civitas Schools. The schools focus on inspirational teachers and traditional teaching methods to enable children to read fluently, spell accurately, know their times tables and do long division.
