There will be a full write up of the Annual Lecture in due course so do look out for it but suffice to say for the moment that it was a great success. Sir David Arculus told the tale of his EMAP plc tiger-ride between 1972 and 2007 and successfully negotiated any

vipers' nests he might have envisaged in the telling. There was a lively question and answer session and it was good to hear from Natasha Christie-Miller, CEO of EMAP who reminded everyone that today EMAP is a leading multi-platform B2B content, events and subscriptions business. The lecture and the questions and answers were moderated by Peter Day in his inimitable style and the evening rounded off with a superb dinner in the Court Room.
