The Charterhouse visit was a great success! Liveryman Brian Verstage reports:
We had a wonderful tour, conducted around one of London's most remarkable and probably least visited sites of historical interest by two brothers resident in the Community.
Every room had an interesting story; all in all an extremely worthwhile afternoon, one that I was very glad to have had the chance to enjoy.
We finished with a first rate afternoon tea in the adjacent Malmaison hotel, a fitting end to an intriguing visit, organised by fellow Stationer Court Assistant Professor Tim Connell, Chairman of the Livery Committee.
The full report will be available in the next issue of Stationers' News.
