The first item on the agenda for a very full day yesterday, 7 June, was the Cloathing of five new Liverymen. As the Court were due at St Bride's for the Richard Johnson Service at 11.30 am the Court met at 9.00 am and it was therefore an early start for the Court Assistants, the new Liverymen-to-be, their sponsors and witnesses. After a rehearsal with the Beadle at 8.30 am the ceremony started very punctually.
The new Liverymen are seen in the photo in the Stock Room after the ceremony and are (from L to R)
