The Hall was filled with Stationers and their guests for the Archive event held last Monday and all attending would agree that it was a fantastic evening. Liveryman Gordon Johnson (in the photo below) had arranged a panel of speakers who addressed the topic Printing and the mind: Seventeenth-Century transformations.
Professor Ian Gadd (left in the photo below) chaired the panel consisting of Mr Scott Mandelbrote, Perne Librarian of Peterhouse Cambridge (centre of the photo) and Dr Freyja Cox Jensen of Exeter University (right in the photo).
As well as these fascinating speakers there was an extensive exhibition supporting the theme in the Court Room. Do look out for more detailed coverage in the next issue of Stationers' news. Photos (taken by Robert Pocknall) of the evening have now been upload to the website. Click here.
