On Monday, 6 November 26 enthusiastic Stationers went to the LivComs “double sell out” visit of Spencer House organised by Elaine Pooke and hosted by their Chairman, Martin Randall.
It certainly lived up to its reputation.
We were privileged to have the Head guide, Rosalind Hutchinson; her knowledge and enthusiasm certainly added to the experience.
She took pride in not only giving us the facts but bringing the tour to life with some great humour.
The Stationers Party then reired to fix their own make up and enjoy a sumptuous 3 course luncheon beautifully prepared and served in one of the famous Private Dining Rooms at the very grand Stafford hotel. A Raffle was held at both Luncheons and raised the excellent sum of £590 for our Foundation's Charities.
It was a most informative and enjoyable day!
