The Stationers’ Company was well represented at Remembrance services across last weekend. On Friday, 10 November Past Master Helen Esmond and Court Assistant Sue Pandit attended the service at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy as shown in this photo by Henry Vu. They are lined up on the left You can read all about the school’s moving act of remembrance here.
On Saturday, 11 November, Armistice Day itself, the Hall was, of course, open for the Lord Mayor’s Show celebrations and at 11.00 the Master was joined by the Clerk and Deputy Clerk, members of the Company and a contingent from the Cutlers’ Company led by their Clerk.
Our Master and the Cutler’s Clerk each laid a wreath at the memorial plaque on the Hall wall.
On Sunday 12 November the Master took part in the service at St Bride’s church and laid a wreath on
behalf of the Company.
