The annual Inter-Livery Skiing Championships is done and dusted and Martin Woodhead the Stationers' skiing captain reports as follows:
There were over 200 competitors this year and another 90 or so supporters and so the event was huge. Whilst we didn't feature in any of the medals, other than a trophy for a team of 'the most careful skiers' (Carol, Nigel and Tej) - say no more - we performed extremely well within our team (seen above with supporters), certainly the best yet, due to a stunning performance by our top skiers. Charles Southey was our fastest skier closely followed by Giles, Chloe, Andy and Martin de la B, but not necessarily in that order (final times still to emerge). So Charles won our largest teddy bear, Chloe won middle bear for being the most stylish skier in our team and Andy won Little Lucky for the Prang of the Week - a rather nasty fall after the competition was over resulting in a broken thumb and a twisted knee.
Everyone else was fine, including Trevor who supported us throughout whilst skiing with a broken wrist against doctor's orders.

Accordingly he won the BM award, a tin spoon, BM being Bloody Minded. For my efforts I won the FOF award (fastest old fart), and Nick Mockett won the Mars award for being on another planet.
