Sunday 30 September saw Freemen of the City gather to exercise their right (for charity rather than for agricultural purposes) to drive their sheep across London Bridge.  Alan Titchmarsh started the proceedings but it is good to know that the Stationers' Company was there too in the guise of Freeman Henri Davis.

Organised by the Worshipful Company of Woolmen the event aims to raise thousands of pounds for the Lord Mayor's Appeal but also provides an opportunity for Londoners and visitors to learn something of many of the City's historic traditions and a platform for communicating various agricultural issues!
