Trevor Fenwick is Executive Chairman and co-founder of Euromonitor International, the leading provider of online international marketing research data and analytics.
Euromonitor operates globally from 14 offices developing original data and research to meet the marketing information needs of international organisations. The company won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2014 for International Trade and the Private Business of the Year 2013 Award (PwC/HSBC).
He is a Board member of the PPA, and past Chair of the UK and European Data Publishers Associations. He has been actively involved with UK and European government in advising on issues surrounding intellectual property, is a past member of the Advisory Panel on Public Sector information and the Legal Deposit Advisory Panel and co-edited the Stationers’ publication “Copyright in the Digital Age: Industry Issues and Impacts”. He is a Trustee and Governor of the St Bride Foundation.
Since joining the Stationers’ Company Trevor has sat on the Industry and Wine committees, chaired the Membership Development Committee, is a Trustee of the Stationers’ Foundation and has been a Governor of the Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy.
He has a strong commitment to social mobility through academic and vocational training especially where relevant to the data and information industries.
Born in North London, Trevor went, erratically and without distinction, to Highgate School before gaining a BA (Hons) in Economics and Government from Essex University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, holds postgraduate qualifications in international marketing and is an Honorary Fellow at Ravensbourne University. Trevor worked as a graphic designer for his father’s lithographic pre-press company before joining Euromonitor.
Trevor lives in Islington with his partner, Jane Hindley, and they have three sons: James, Edward and Charles. He is a lifelong supporter of his local football team and tries to retain an active outdoor life as a skier, sailor, and gardener. Trevor is a committed epicurean with a passion for and curiosity in food, wine, travelling, music, literature and the visual arts.
