The Young Stationers are very excited indeed to hold their second Annual Dinner in Stationers’ Hall after last year’s inaugural triumph! This year's speaker is David Aaronovitch, prize-winning columnist at The Times. He follows last year's guest speaker, Lorraine Sutherland, editor of Hansard, the official record of the House of Commons.
The Annual Dinner also is the evening on which the Master of the Stationers’ Company presents the Young Stationers' Prize, for extraordinary achievement in one of the trades of the Company by a person under the age of 40. Last year's recipient was Katie Glass, a columnist at the Sunday Times. The award, and also announcements of the shortlist and longlist, received extensive press coverage in the Sunday Times, Evening Standard, and trade publications.
All members of the Company, and especially any younger guests they may like to bring, are very warmly welcome to join the Young Stationers for this very special dinner.
Dress is Black Tie. The cost of a ticket is £75 inc VAT and there is no limit to the number of guests you may bring. Applications will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. A reserve list will be produced in the event of a ‘Full House’ with those placed on it notified.
Please book your tickets online at www.stationers.org/events, or alternatively complete and return the attached slip, with your cheque made out to ‘The Stationers’ Company’. The closing date for bookings is Monday, 13 July, after which time no refunds will be given.
