On Monday, 17 October the Hall filled with Stationers and their guests for the IPso FACTo roundtable event organised by Court Assistant Trevor Fenwick.  Trevor chaired a panel which comprised Charles Baden Fuller, Centenary Professor of Strategy and leader of the Strategy Group at Cass Business School who spoke about different types of business model; Mark Bide, Chairman of the Publishers Licensing Society, who

spoke about the progress in collecting monies owed for the use of copyrighted material; Dr Jeremy Silver who introduced to many of those present the concept of “blockchain” and Mark Simpkins who presented a case study on Mycelia a platform in development which allows musicians to keep full control of the distribution of, and charging for, their output.  It was a fascinating evening so do look out for fuller coverage in Stationers’ News and some video clips which will be uploaded to this website shortly.  In the photo you can see (from L-R) Charles Baden Fuller, Mark Bide, Trevor Fenwick, Dr Jeremy Silver and Mark Simpkins
