Court Assistant Carol Tullo has brought to our attention the contribution of Liveryman Doug Wills to a programme on BBC Radio 4 called Press for Diversity (click the link to listen). It is a fascinating insight into diversity, or the lack of it, in our newsrooms and the effect that this has on the way in which stories are reported. Doug features three times and some reference (not enough?) is made to the Evening Standard Media Diversity Bursary Scheme which the Stationers’ Company supports.
We are delighted also to have had an insight into this scheme from a participant, Safeeyah Kazi, which you can read by clicking here.
