Members will be delighted to welcome seven new Freemen to their ranks. They had their Freedom Ceremony on Monday, 12 January 2015 at Cutlers' Hall because Stationers' Hall was booked
for three full days by a film unit working on a TV reality show! Whilst some might think of it as a slight negative not to have this ceremony at the start of their membership of the Company in their own hall, Stationers who have been made free at Cutlers' Hall in the past, because of commercial bookings at Stationers' Hall, have loved it because the team there is so welcoming, the Hall is lovely and the atmosphere unique. These new Freemen were no exceptions to that. They are shown in the image on the staircase at Cutlers' Hall.
They are, from left to right: Claire Buffoni (daughter of Liveryman John Buffoni), Hugh Comerford, Edward Clark (son of Liveryman Mike Clark), Dominic Graham, Edward Hoare, Sophie Mobbs and Paul Phelan. We are looking forward to welcoming all seven to events in the near future when we hope they will start to feel at home in Stationers' Hall's own special splendour and ambience.
