The archaeologists are continuing their work at Stationers' Hall in line with legal requirements to record, and where possible, to protect our heritage. We hope to have an interview with the archaeologist available shortly but here are some photos of items retrieved from the trenches so far to whet your appetite.
Fragments of bone and shells
Blue glazed pottery and a shard of painted pottery both of which are fragments of high quality items from the seventeenth century
Medieval floor tiles
