Discover the magical art of globe-making
Tickets: £30 (maximum 20 people)
Time: The tour starts at 5.30pm
Address: Bellerby & Co, 7 Bouverie Mews, London, N16 0AE
If you’ve ever marvelled at the beauty and precision of a globe, then this special evening is for you!
Stationer Peter Bellerby, the founder of the world’s only truly bespoke globemakers, will be hosting a visit to his wonderful studio in north London on Tuesday March 25.
The team of skilled craftspeople at Bellerby & Co make exquisite terrestrial, celestial and planetary globes for customers around the world.
Peter will take us on an incredible journey of how to build a globe – or “earth apples” as they were first known – and will talk about fascinating aspects of history, astronomy and physics.
He is generously supplying wine so we can toast his remarkable work. And there will be a special surprise to take home after your visit.
Places are strictly limited to 20 because of the size of Peter’s studio in Stoke Newington. Nearest Tube station is Finsbury Park on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines.
Tickets are £30 each, all of which will go to the Stationers’ charities. Book early by emailing Dave Rosewell on dave.rosewell@icloud.com
