How did Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair make the seemingly impossible job possible, becoming the only Prime Ministers in modern times to serve more than a decade in power. In the past 50 years, eleven Prime Ministers have occupied 10 Downing Street, but excluding those two, their average term of office was just over three years. Iain Dale and Steve Richards join us to discuss their recent biographies of these two era defining leaders, including their long-term legacies and what today’s politicians can learn from them.
