This concert celebrates the anniversary of St Cecilia, Patron Saint of Music and Musicians, and two musical giants: Gabriel Fauré and Sir Charles Villiers Stanford, who both died 100 years ago.

The Programme includes:

Peter Philips: Cantantibus organis (St Cecilia)

Henry Purcell: Hear my prayer, O Lord

Gabriel Fauré: Cantique de Jean Racine

Charles Villiers Stanford: Three Motets

Charles Villiers Stanford: Magnificat 

Gabriel Fauré: Requiem

The concert will be preceded by a Sparkling Wine Reception and followed by a Vin d’Amitié, when the audience and musicians can mingle.
