Congratulations to The 2015 Young Stationers' Prize winner, Angela Clarke. It has been announced today by The Bookseller that she has been signed up to a two book deal with HarperCollins. Angela is hoping to become a Member of the Company but is currently busy pursuing her writing career!

 

 

 

The Waterloo Ball, held at Stationers’ Hall on 19th June, raised £9,500 to be split between the Royal Marines Charitable Trust and the Stationers’ Foundation.

Congratulations to Liveryman, Ross Bradshaw who has been appointed the new chairman for PEFC. Currently, Ross runs his own paper agency business representing a number of speciality paper mills from the USA and Europe, offering bespoke publishing and packaging papers. Ross is PEFC UK’s longest serving director, having joined the Board in 2007.

Liveryman Christopher Leonard-Morgan has been in touch to give us the dates of National Stationery Week 2016. It will run from Monday, 25 April to Sunday, 1 May. Now in its fifth year, National Stationery Week is a celebration of the written word and all things stationery,

Congratulations to Jeffrey Evans who has been elected Lord Mayor of London. He is the 688th Mayor to be in service of a tradition over 800 years old! His first official engagement will be on 14 November at the Lord Mayor's Show .

Next week 3/4 October two liverymen will be cycling 120 miles from London to Amesterdam to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Stationers' Hall took part in Open House Londonfor the first time on Sunday, 20 September. There was a wonderful turnout with over 1,400 people visiting the hall. A huge thank you to all those that worked hard to make the day a success!
