Exciting news from Court Assistant Martin Woodhead. A new publishing business, Burleigh Dodds Science Publishing, was born yesterday, 3 March 2015. It will focus on helping researchers in agricultural science address how to feed a growing population in the face of climate change and increasing competition for land, water and other resources. Martin's former company, Woodhead Publishing, built up one of the world’s leading lists in food science which was widely admired by researchers and the publishing industry and the new company has been formed from the award-winning team which worked on that list. We all send good wishes to Burleigh Dodds Science Publishing and look forward to hearing how things go in due course.

Before the Livery Lunch today, 2 March 2015, the Master presided over a special Master and Wardens' meeting the purpose of which was to bring into the Freedom three new members.
