Court Assistant Martin Woodhead writes: After nearly a year of negotiations, an historic agreement for the Company was signed on 19th August by the Clerk, William Alden, with Adam Matthew Digital for the further digitisation and publication of the Company’s archives. Adam Matthew is a subsidiary company of Corporate Member Sage Publishing.

Members will be happy to know that Liveryman Sara Pink survived her 300 foot abseil drop of the Lloyd's building in support of the Lord Mayor’s Charity.

Her target was to raise £950 however she managed to raise £1,030.00 for Mencap and Scope, the two main beneficiaries of the Lord Mayor’s charities, and this figure is still rising!

Summer works are coming to an end with the installation of new hall lighting being the most recent change. The adjustable dimming lights will set a great atmosphere for any occasion and there will be no more shadows around the hall. 

Members will be delighted to know that The Master’s Ride and BBQ which was held on Sunday 14 June, a report of which was provided by Liveryman Oliver Gadsby, raised £2,500 for the Educational Appeal of the Stationers’ Foundation.

Packaging will be very much to the fore in the coming month, with back to back events firstly from ‘Packaging Innovations & Luxury Packaging London’ on 16-17 December. Followed by our very own Stationers’ Company event ‘Launch of the Packaging Drivers - from now until 2025’.

Members will be interested to know that Sara Pink (who impressed her membership interview panel with her 'extreme sports interests') has agreed to jump 300 feet off of the Lloyd's building in London! This is in support of the Lord Mayor's charities and the main beneficiaries are Mencap and SCOPE. All funds will go directly to the charities and the big jump will commence on 4 September 2015.
