Académie du Vin Library was founded in 2019 by two stalwarts in the wine world to publish the best wine writing. Hugh Johnson and Steven Spurrier wanted to republish some classics of the genre.
We've gone from strength to strength since, acquiring our main rivals, the Classic Wine Library (also with an august history stretching back to the 1960s and Faber & Faber), and we've now published over 60 books, mostly newly commissioned, and also distribute for other small publishers and self-published authors. If you're a wine lover, or know one, there will be at least one book on the list for you.
