A huge thank you to the Worshipful Company of Stationers' and Newspaper Makers and the numerous members for their support, the Old Stationers' Association for keeping alive the memories of our alma mater, The Stationers' Company's School which instilled in me the importance of education, compassion and my love for writing.
Fred was a well-behaved boy. He always worked his hardest at school and obeyed his mother without exception, who had worked tirelessly her whole life to provide for him and ensure he lived a happy, successful life and would make something of himself one day. However, what neither of them realised was that this was all about to change forever, starting with an innocent party, leading to the forming of an innocent friendship, which then develops into something much more sinister. As Fred's relationships with those closest to him unravel, he will learn the true consequences of his actions. Do Me a Favour is a cutting moral tale that teaches young people about the dangers of substances and peer pressure, and what they can do to avoid these challenges. Andreas Christou weaves the story of a boy on a downward spiral to his ultimate failure, enough to keep any reader hooked.
