Moira Sleight is Editor and Publisher of the “Methodist Recorder”, a weekly, national newspaper founded in 1861.
She is a member of the Board of the Society of Editors and of the Board of the London Press Club.
She is also a member of the Independent Publishers’ Forum of the News Media Association and a member of the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors.
She serves on judging panels for regional and national press awards.
She was Master of the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers from 2022-23, during which year the Company signed its Diversity Pledge and appointed an Environment Champion.
