MIDAS ANNOUNCES LIVERYMAN GEORGE WALKLEY AS NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIR

George is a well-known figure in the industry and spent fifteen years at Hachette as Group Digital and Development Director. George is now an independent consultant, experienced non-executive director and a doctoral researcher. George is an expert on AI in publishing and media, and developed the world’s first independent, CPD-accredited training course on generative AI for book publishers. George Walkley said, ‘I've known the Midas team as a non-executive director, as a consultant, and in many cases as a colleague. The business has a fantastic client base and ambitious plans. I'm delighted to be working more closely with Jason Bartholomew and the rest of the board as non-executive chair.’

The appointment of George Walkley comes after George Lossius decided to retire as of 30^th June after ten successful years as the COB at Midas.
