The Stationers Company donates to this years City Harvest Charity

On behalf of the Company Nicholas Brealey was delighted to accept City Harvest’s plaque in thanks for this year's donation by the Stationers' Charity 1961.

City Harvest is an excellent charity supported by the Livery Food Initiative that very successfully takes surplus food from the City (from supermarkets to the Savoy) and provides nutritious meals to food banks and schools in need. Since starting a decade ago it has delivered over 69 million meals to grassroots organisations. Just since March this year, its van and truck has rescued 230 tons of food that would otherwise be wasted and delivered over half a million meals.

In due course we hope that our Hall’s food surplus will become part of this impressive Pan-Livery Initiative!"
