Contact originators were awarded three Warrants for Optimus, Print HQ and Magnaforma.
Optimus™ is a groundbreaking flexographic printing plate technology developed by Contact Originators, designed to optimise ink usage and improve print quality within the corrugated packaging sector. This patent-pending technology integrates advanced studio techniques with tailored plate surface patterns, different plate types, and LED exposures. This combination yields precise and efficient ink laydown with up to 20% savings on ink usage and 10% on ink formulation.
PrintHQ is a transformative digital shim printing technology for the corrugated printing sector, developed by Contact Originators in partnership with AV Flexologic. Recognising inefficiencies in the traditional manual processes of shim mounting and skew checking, Contact Originators designed PrintHQ to address accuracy, traceability, and workflow integration challenges that flexographic printers face.
MagnaForma™ is a groundbreaking innovation by Contact Originators, featuring a world-first design and manufacture of a 2.8m wide mounted multi-piece photopolymer flexographic plate for the corrugated printing industry. This technology was developed to address the longstanding challenge faced by corrugated printers, who have been limited to utilising only 1.9m of their press width, unable to fully capitalise on their equipment’s capabilities.
