In March we welcomed more than a dozen young adults from less advantaged backgrounds, all looking to learn more about the world of PR and communications, to our monthly in person B-Hive day.
Barley colleagues worked together with the jobseekers from the Spear Foundation Programme to help them prepare for interviews and develop presentation skills. The
Spear Foundation Programme coaches 16-24 year old trainees with the mindset and skills they need to both get into work and thrive once they’re there. We worked with Spear to organise a company visit, giving young people the opportunity fo experience a professional environment, meet people who are already climbing the career ladder, and learn more about different industry sectors.
