16 SCWA ROYAL MARINES CADETS IN ACTION AT THE ACADEMY IN ELTHAM.

The Commanding Officer of the Royal Marines Reserve, Lt Col Simon Dinsmore RM, was guest of honour and inspected the cadets on parade. The afternoon exercises included an observation lesson, a ‘move and fire’ procedure and a lesson on how to cook rations.

At the end of the day the Master congratulated the cadets on their commitment and Lt Col Dinsmore encouraged them to follow the core values of the Royal Marines: Excellence, Integrity, Self-Discipline and Humility, along with the Commando Spirt of Courage, Determination, Unselfishness and Cheerfulness in the face of adversity.
