BOSS LEADERS OF THE FUTURE LOOK TO REDEFINE LEADERSHIP WITH A STELLAR LINE UP OF SPEAKERS AT NOVEMBER CONFERENCE

25 OCTOBER 2021

BOSS Leaders of the Future look to redefine leadership with a stellar line up of speakers at November conference

The BOSS Leaders of the Future Committee are excited to be hosting their next conference, as a live event at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on the 25th November. The conference will take place from 11am-3.30pm and delegates will have the opportunity to stay on for the BOSS Awards on the evening with heavily subsidised ticket rates.

Freeman Amy Hutchinson, BOSS CEO, comments “We are so excited to host our LOTF Conference in person again. By partnering with PRISM we will be giving all delegates the opportunity to access brain mapping prior to the conference to assess their leadership style. Our experts on the day will then help attendees understand how they can use this knowledge most effectively to further their careers. We have a fantastic line up of speakers from within the industry and outside and look forward to welcoming many future leaders from our sector.”

Leading, whether it’s a team, department or project is never an easy task. As we settle into the new normal after COVID-19 businesses are redefining leadership. The pandemic created the ultimate break in routine and thrust many individuals into leadership positions but without the traditional training.

The Leaders of the Future committee invite you to take a day away from work's demands to discover your leadership style with PRISM brain mapping and a wealth of experts.

With keynote presentations from the following speakers:

Heather White, CEO, Smarter Networking

Heather is a networking and personal brand expert, TEDx speaker, boardroom matchmaker, founder of the boardroom ready programme. She will be delivering a dynamic session on how to ‘Network better’ and create an effective personal brand that works for you.

Dominic Wing, Higher & Degree Apprenticeship Manager, BOSS and Charles and Lisa de Garston, from PRISM Brain Mapping will help delegates understand their PRISM brain mapping results on the day* and ensure they are best equipped to use this knowledge when progressing on their leadership journey.

Senior figures in the industry will then run the following Round Table sessions. This part of the day will be chaired by Simon Drakeford, BOSS Chairman, CEO, EO Group:

  • Managing change and conflict effectively: Trevor Weldon, Group Director of Business Development & Services, OT Group
  • Recognising Talent – getting the best from your team: Isabel Spence, Merchandising & Marketing Director, Banner Group
  • How to raise your profile and develop yourself: Phil Jones, MD, Brother
  • Managing everyone in your network – leadership is not just about managing your team

Scott Castle, BOSS LOTF Chairperson comments, “The first Leaders of the Future Conference I attended was in 2014. It was a huge motivator for me that my organisation thought so highly of me to ask me to attend, and on the day, I took away so much that helped me develop as an individual and add value in my role. I have attended every event since and now being on the Leaders of the Future Committee I am extremely confident this year’s conference will give attendees tangible takeaways that help them develop and progress their careers.”

Join the LOTF Committee to learn how to raise your profile and build a personal brand. Explore how you can develop yourself and recognise talent to get the best from your team. Leave with the knowledge of how to handle change and conflict while managing everyone in your network effectively. Ideal for those currently in leadership roles or aspiring to be.
