After many Covid-spoiled attempts to find a date and venue for this very important event in the Corporate Membership calendar the Company was delighted to welcome the CEOs from many of the Stationers' Corporate Members plus their Stationers' Corporate Liaison Officers to dinner at Cutlers' Hall last night.
The evening started with a champagne reception towards the end of which the Clerk gave a presentation about the progress of Vision 350. For most guests, and many members present, this was a superb chance to see the project from its start to where it is today.
Guests then went downstairs to the Cutlers' Court Room where they enjoyed a superb candlelit dinner before the Master formally welcomed them and introduced the speaker, Liveryman Professor Simon Heffer.
Simon spoke about the current state of strategic thought in government which provoked several questions from and much debate around the table.
The Master closed the formalities and invited everyone to remain for the stirrup cup.
This much awaited event was a great success and it was wonderful to be able to welcome and entertain, at long last, our Corporate Members, whose support is so important to the Company.
