FOUR NEW FREEMEN

At the Master and Wardens meeting today the Master made four people Free of the Company including a father and daughter which is a very rare occurrence!
The four new Freemen are, from left to right in the photo, Ryan Prince, John Blauth, Sophie Blauth and Bill Bowkett.
Ryan Prince is a Photographer and has completed his MA in Photography at the University of Westminster for which he received a Stationers' Bursary.
John Blauth, a journalist and editor, is MD and Proprietor of Blauth Consulting, and Sophie Blauth is currently studying for a Masters in Publishing at Exeter University where she is (and was during her undergraduate time there) Editor-in-Chief of 'Her Campus Exeter' a digital magazine publishing daily in term time for the student body.
Bill Bowkett first came into contact with the Stationers' Company when his school entered the Shine School Media Awards. He was awarded a Stationers' Major Award to assist him to study Newspaper Journalism at City University and he is now a trainee reporter withthe Daily Mail.
We wish them well and hope to see them at events soon.
