OPENBOOKS INITIATIVE

Liveryman Ella Kahn writes to tell us of this initiative which is being organised by the Publishers Association, Booksellers Association and The Association of Authors’ Agents, with support from the Arts Council.
This collaboration aims to demystify careers in the book industry over the course of a two day online programme. The intended audience is UK secondary schools so it is of course very relevant to the Stationers' Company and its publishing membership but also to any young person considering a career in publishing.
