I am pleased to report that as of today a total of £864 has been raised for the Stationers’ Foundation, in no small part thanks to direct donations from fellow members. Alongside this I also raised £749 for the London Freemasons’ Air Ambulance drive.
It was a delight being Kitty Bo-Peep for the day and I was overwhelmed by the response I received. I met lots of people (as well as lots of sheep!) and spoke to visitors about the liveries and especially the Stationers’ Company. As my first inter livery event, I really appreciated having the support of the Company there. Chris Roycroft-Davis managed to skilfully navigate the crowds to take some fantastic shots, and Emily Dexter and Maria Nae (who were supporting the event in their Guild of Young Freeman guise) kindly arranged their schedule to be able to accompany me when it was my turn. Our Master, Paul Wilson, even graciously accepted one of the gold foil 2024 seals I was handing out!
I hope to see you at the Young Stationers’ Winter Ball, if not before,
Kitty
