TOURS AND PUBLIC ACCESS

Members of the public are most welcome to visit our unique and historic Hall and learn more about the work of this ancient City of London Livery Company and its pivotal role in the history of the book trade over the past six centuries. 

  • The tours will take place at set times, by prior arrangement
  • Places on these tours MUST be booked in advance.
  • Tours will last for approximately 60 minutes.
  • We ask for a £20 per person donation. This includes tea and coffee at the end of the tour and a booklet on the History of the Stationers' Company.
  • All proceeds will go to the Stationers’ Hall Charity (registered charity number 1169753).

Group tours are welcome, subject to availability. Please email sales@stationers.org if you wish to organise such a tour. 

Visits to the Tokefield Archive Centre to view some of the Company's original material, which dates as far back as 1557,  can be organise at the same time as booking the tour, (subject to the availability of the archivist). An additional donation of £5  per person is requested.

The Hall is normally open to the public on the Sunday of the Open House London Weekend and for the London Parks & Gardens Trust's Open Garden Squares Sunday.
