IMPROVING SECURITY

Who'd have thought that in my last full year of work, I'd be learning new skills? And yet last week, along with all Stationers' Company staff,  I proudly added a new certificate to my portfolio by completing an Action Counters Terrorism awareness e-learning course.

Following the tragic incident at Fishmongers' Hall last November, the subject of security at Stationers' Hall has obviously become a top priority. We have asked a firm of security specialists to review our current procedures and make recommendations for what must improve. In the meantime, we have undertaken risk assessments of every event booked at the Hall in 2020.

All of us here at Stationers' Hall take the safety and security of our members, everyone attending events and all our visitors very seriously. It is never going to be possible to eliminate all risk, but we are determined to do our very best.
