The evening was a rare excursion for the literary “lunchers” as it was an evening event at L'Escargot in Soho, as opposed to the normal lunches in the City.
Dylan Jones was interviewed Upper Warden Doug Wills about his recently published memoir, These Foolish Things. The “conversation” covered Dylan’s story about how he went from a difficult childhood in High Wycombe to being the celebrated and honoured editor of GQ managazine for 22 years. Dylan gave an insight into he began his career working at i-D, The Face and Arena, moved on to the Observer and Sunday Times before his award-wining record span at GQ.
More than 30 Stationers attended along with members of the London Press Club.
