REBEL STATIONERY LAUNCHES STUNNING TEXTILES FOR THEIR NEW STATIONERY RANGE

26 JUNE 2024

Rebel Stationery launches stunning textiles for their new stationery range

Freemen Annie Couldrey, Bex Newell and George Thompson of Rebel Stationery are launching a stunning new collection of notebooks and diaries using textiles woven for them by women in Quechua in the Peruvian Andes. They are partnering with Awamaki, a charity who support the communities who make these textiles, to ensure funds go directly back to the weavers.

Earlier this month they spent an afternoon with master archivists Cultural Heritage Digitisation to get these beautiful scans. The quality and precision of this process is something to be marvelled at, and will make their stationery something to be treasured for a lifetime.

They want to focus their  work on the women who create fabrics across the globe, and this new relationship with CHD is a huge step forward in their mission for excellence.

They have licensed three designs, and will pay a further royalty fee of £2 every time they sell an Awamaki Collection product, revolutionising the way artisanal textile pieces are used internationally.

The collection will be available July 2024 - Rebel. Stationery with a cause. – Rebel Stationery
