Update from SME member YPO - Three-year YPO and NSPCC partnership takes safer childhoods message on the road

To celebrate the renewal of a tie-up that has already raised a six-figure sum for the charity, four YPO delivery vans will feature special livery that includes a YPO-NSPCC joint logo with the message: “Creating Safer Childhoods”.
The vans also spread the word about how people can contact the charity’s Childline by calling 0800 1111. A larger-than-life illustration of two children against a background of YPO’s market-leading glue sticks bears the message, “This is more than just a glue stick …” as part of a wider campaign that supports education, raises awareness about the children’s charity’s Childline service, and supports the NSPCC through sales of the YPO product range.

Kirsty Walker, Fire Engineer at ARUP, joins us at Conference to share insights from ARUP’s award-winning project: 'Making Grenfell Tower inquiry evidence accessible as a source of learning'.
The project received the 2024 Knowledge Management Initiative Award presented by CILIP’s Knowledge & Information Management Group for its significant contribution to both the knowledge discipline, and wider society. Kirsty's session will explore how structured, accessible knowledge can drive meaningful change in high-stakes environments.

This report highlights the power of collaboration and the good work the 113 Livery Companies and their 45,000+ members do, working together and pooling resources, time, skills and experience for the benefit of shared philanthropic endeavour.
The report shows a number of livery initiatives and stories. £81m was donated by the livery companies in 2024 and over 76,000 hours of pro bono/voluntary work. Thank you to all Stationers who contribute to the philanthropic work of the livery companies.

On March 11, 1850 – exactly 175 years ago – the Hemmer, Hamm & Co. bell foundry and machine shop opened in Frankenthal. Besides bells, it also made printing presses, which laid the foundations for the company now called Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG)

London, 1st of November 2024 – Euroffice, a leading retailer of workplace supplies, proudly marks its 25th anniversary this November. Established in 1999, Euroffice began with the goal of providing accounting systems to small businesses via the internet. Although the idea was ahead of its time in the late '90s, the founders quickly identified a significant gap in the market: small and medium-sized businesses weren’t receiving competitive prices or quality customer service when sourcing workplace solutions. Euroffice set out to change this.
