INTER-LIVERY GOLF CROQUET DAY: 15TH JUNE 2024

As in previous years, this event is an opportunity for Liverymen to enjoy a day of friendly competition
playing Golf Croquet in the company of fellow Liverymen from various companies.
Costs & Refreshments: The entry fee of £78 per head includes all playing costs, coffee or tea on arrival,
lunch & afternoon tea. There is a limited number of spaces for non-players at a cost of £55 per person
to include the lunch and refreshments offered to players. SCCC has a bar for the purchase of alcoholic
and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day and only card payments are accepted.
Competitions: Livery companies may enter up to three teams, but only two teams may compete for the
“Glovers’ Cup”. In addition to, or instead of, entering the Glovers’ Cup, companies can enter the “InterLivery Challenge” which is for first-time or occasional players for whom explanation and direction will
be provided. It will take place on the same day. Both competitions are for teams of two players (doubles)
playing 13-point games and the tournament formats will be explained on the day.
Dress: We recommend comfortable summer clothing. Whites may be worn if preferred. SCCC operates
a strict policy about shoes to protect the lawns - shoes must be flat, with no heels or excessive ribbing
on the soles. There are changing facilities available at the club. You may wish to bring wet weather gear.
Equipment: Mallets will be available.
Coaching: For those who require it, an introduction to Golf Croquet will be given from 09:45 to 10:00.

Entries: To enter please send an e-mail to p_h_brown@icloud.com no later than 31st May 2024 and
include your players’ names, whether you require a non-player place, any dietary requirements each
person has and whether your team(s) will enter the Glovers’ Cup or the Inter-Livery Challenge. If the
event is oversubscribed entries will be accepted in the order of receipt.
Please include the name and e-mail address of the person to whom an invoice for your entry is to be
sent (one invoice per livery company).
