22 JANUARY 2025
The Master hosted a Burns Supper at Stationers’ Hall and members and guests donned their best tartan and raised a toast to Scotland's national bard at our exclusive black tie event on Monday, 20 January 2025.
A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796), the author of many Scots poems, who has several links to the Stationers.
A drinks reception took place in the Court Room followed by the four course dinner in the Livery Hall.
Classic Scottish traditions, including a piper, drams of whisky and the addressing of the Haggis, accompanied a delicious four-course dinner.
