7 APRIL 2022
Stationers who are involved in book publishing were delighted to be able to return to some sort of normailty and a real, in-person London Book Fair at Olympia this week and our Publishing Sector Champion , Liveryman George Walkley, arranged a get-together after the Fair had closed for the day on 6 April.
Many publishers actually carry on doing business and forgeing relationships outside the Fair and on into the evening. Many who might have attended were in touch to say that they were doing just that after such a long lockdown when they were unable to
meet customers and colleagues but a good time was had by all those who were able to join the group which met at the Havelock Tavern. Despite the torrential rain there was a great atmosphere and happily there were very positive reports about how things were going at the Fair..
