Sunday, 25 September saw the annual Sheep Drive across London Bridge
Each year the Freemen of the City of London re-enact their ancient right of driving their sheep across the Thames without paying a toll. Dating back to medieval times when London Bridge was the only way for local traders to get their sheep across the river to sell their wool and meat in the market, the event is now organised by the Woolmen’s Company Charitable Trust which benefits along with the Lord Mayor's Appeal.
The Stationers' Company had a great team out herding as shown in the photo above in which you can see, from L-R, Liveryman Barry May, the Master, Liveryman Jim Vaughan, Freeman Suzy Bibko, Freeman Colin Wells, Liveryman Peter Munk and Liveryman Tyler Carey.
