THE STATIONERS' COMPANY BIDS FAREWELL TO THE CLERK

On 25 March the Company gathered via Zoom to thank William Alden for his service as Clerk over the past eleven years and to mark his retirement on 31 March.
The Master gave an excellent speech in tribute to William and presented him with gifts from the Company: a leatherbound edition of his graces, a collection from the Company and lifelong membership of the Company without fine.
The Past Masters during whose years of office William was Clerk have also commissioned a portrait of William to be hung in the Hall.
