The Civic Dinner was the principal event of the year, at which the Company celebrated its links with the Mayoralty and the City. The Company invited Civic dignitaries and their spouses to last night's dinner, including the Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of London and the Sheriffs.
The band from the Royal Marines Association provided music before, during and after the dinner, as well as entertained the guests with their superb Post Horn Galop between two buglers!
Following a Champagne reception in the Court Room, a four-course dinner with fine wines, coffee and port was served in the Hall. After dinner, guests joined the Master and Wardens in a Stirrup Cup before setting off for home.
