At Goldsmith's Hall on Tuesday 6 July 2021 Robert Flather was elected Master of the Stationers' Company and was duly installed in the traditional ceremony.

At a special and socially distanced meeting of the Court yesterday, 28 June 2021, the Master was delighted to cloathe three people in person and one via Zoom. The ceremony took place at Cutler's Hall.

After a year's absence because of the pandemic the Company is delighted that the Stationers' Innovation Excellence Awards are back. On Tuesday, 22 June 2021 the winners were announced and awards presented at a live hybrid, ceremony.

We're looking forward to our forthcoming Charter Dinner, celebrating the grant of a Royal Charter to the Stationers' Company in 1557. The original Charter was lost, probably in the 1666 Fire of London, but you'll all be familiar with the rather splendid 1684 Charter granted by Charles II in 1684, a facsimile of which (see image) hangs in the Court Room. On 21 April the Livery Committee were delighted to welcome members and their guests via Zoom to hear the Reverend Sam Aldred talk on Clubland's Hidden Treasures Clubland’s during which he explored the incredible collection of art and artefacts inside Britain’s (and in one case the USA's) most exclusive clubs.

The hybrid Master and Wardens' meeting on 17 May was the first chance some members of the Committee had to visit the new office in Ave Maria Lane. In the photo above you can see from L-R Court Assistant Carol Tullo, Court Assistant Tim Connell, Court Assistant Ian Leggett, the Master, Upper Warden Robert Flather and Past Master Helen Esmonde.
